A candle asks for attention. A few simple habits support a calmer, more even burn.
Before lighting
Place the candle upright in a stable, heat-resistant holder, away from drafts, children, pets, and anything that can catch fire. Keep the wick neatly trimmed.
While burning
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep the flame within sight and do not move the candle while the wax is liquid or hot.
Afterward
Extinguish safely, allow the wax to cool, and store the candle clean and upright.
